Gross year salary based on 100% fulltime employment (€52.000 - €77.000).


Your challenge as Application & Industry 4.0 Engineer.

•    Drive CI Projects with focus on digitalization
Drive and lead Continuous Improvement projects with a strong focus on digitalization.
•    The end-purpose is to improve on digital technology and prepare the site for the plant of the future.
•    Coordinate, drive & manage the improvements on digitalization (I4.0) for site Rotterdam.
•    Develop, maintain and implement tools/applications for support of day-to-day operations.
•    Be the key-user of EPI Client and maintain & support the system to be up to date with the asset integrity and growth investment changes on the site.
•    Functional owner of the production information system and production historical data.
•    Support the Reboot Yourself program by developing and expanding the local capabilities in the use of applications and systems. Inject passion for this activity by providing vision and direction of the future digital development of the site.
•    Actively support the local CI activities throughout the year (CI Award, CI events etc.)
•    Drive and support in setting the standard in the use of applications and systems.

Have you got what it takes?

•    Technical degree / experience level BSc., in either (IT/Chemical) Engineering or
•    5+ years of relevant work experience in maintaining applications in a manufacturing
operations and engineering environment.
•    Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run
accurate (also statistical) analyses and synthesize recommendations.
•    Experienced Team player knows how to build his/her own network and work in a
matrix organization.
•    Project Management skills.
•    Experienced and Confident in training colleagues.
•    Solid project and stakeholder management experience.
•    Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
•    Flexible thinker.
•    Interested to implement and drive new IT technologies.
•    Strong IT discipline and open-minded towards ideas and solutions from other disciplines.
•    O365 experience: SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerBI.
