Global Supply Planner

Fulltime, Amersfoort (hybrid position)
Monthly salary: 4.000 – 5.750 EUR before tax

Your challenge as a Global Supply Planner
As Global Supply Planner, you are responsible for managing the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Supply Stream, based on the specific needs, and with a focus on the total value chain. You plan production and supply with a very high level of understanding of the trade-offs between service, stock, and total supply chain costs.

Your responsibilities include as well:

  • Improving the capability of the planning function and implementing new concepts, tools, and processes (like for instance ABCXYZ segmentation, stocking parameters, flexible batch size management, etc.)
  • Ownership of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all relevant factories and liaising with the Production Scheduler to ensure the plan is delivered.  
  • Managing and monitoring Inventory levels and shared responsibility for Lead times and customer on time in full (OTIF)                                       
  • Creating key reports and analyses to support the Demand and Supply streams

The Planning team 
Nobian produces and markets salt and energy, chlor-alkali products, and derivatives. The Planning team is part of the Sales Operation Department and interlinks with Sales and Marketing, and the Supply Chain (plant and site logistics), in order to best, serve our customers. The team manages the process of balancing product demand and available production capacity. They continuously optimize production processes, ship deliveries, costs, and turnarounds, thus realizing the optimum utilization of the production plants.

Have you got what it takes?
To be eligible for this challenging position, you bring at least 3 years of demonstrable experience with planning in a complex global environment. You have a service-driven mentality and are able to balance customer needs and available capacity.  Next to this, you have:

  • At least a bachelor's diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain
  • Extensive system knowledge of SAP or other planning systems and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with different layers in the organization
  • Influencing & advisory skills
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as L6S
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and in writing
