Annual salary: EUR 65.000 – EUR 105.000

 

Your challenges 

As HSE Specialist Mining You take the lead in optimization of our HSE systems, reporting and procedures in our Mining area within the boundaries of the Nobian HSE framework. You support, advice and coach the front leaders (internal & external) on our Mining locations and drive culture change. You will initiate and perform field inspections, support risk assessments, coordinate HSE meetings and toolboxes & drive follow-up on actions & learnings. You will assure that our Mining operation complies with local law and branch standards.

 


Together with the central HSE competence team and site HSE community you drive the organization towards a commitment-based safety culture.

Have you got what it takes?

To be eligible for this challenging position you bring at least 10 years relevant work experience as HSE Specialist in a Mining environment. 

 

Next to this, you:

  • Have a bachelor or academic degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering Environmental Science or similar
  • Have demonstrable experience in HSE in the field of Mining, specifically on drilling rigs
  • Have experience in culture change processes
  • Have affinity with HSE IM tools
  • Have knowledge of management systems 
  • Have HSE auditing experience
  • Are fluent in English, both verbal as in writing
  • Have influencing skills
  • Are willing to travel 20-40% of your time
