Operational Excellence Project Lead
Fulltime, the location for this position is Amersfoort in the Netherlands and regular travel is expected to our sites in the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.
Gross annual salary before tax: EUR 60.000 – EUR 90.000

Your Challenges and Tasks
As an Operational Excellence Project Lead you lead complex improvement projects, usually overarching multiple business lines, functions or sites, to impart significant impacts on the results of Nobian. You operate across all Nobian departments, sites and functional lines to drive change and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in our leading organization, by applying Lean Six Sigma (L6S) where necessary, and playing an active role in promoting and cultivating the continuous improvement mindset within the organization.
• Act as a valued member of a central team of 6 Operational Excellence experts
• Carry out and participate in projects all over Nobian
• Lead, inspire and work with teams of subject matter experts
• Interact with, and influence, all levels of our organization, from management team to shopfloor
• Support and coach the CI community / other CI practitioners on our 7 production sites or elsewhere in our business

Have you got what it takes?
To be eligible for this challenging position you bring at least 4-7 years relevant work experience as an Operational Excellence / Continuous improvement specialist in a manufacturing / supply chain environment (preferably chemical industry in a central team and/or on-site experience)

Do you have a top tier consultancy background with several years experience and a demonstrated track record in the (chemical) industry, and looking for a consultancy exit? Please also do not hesitate and apply for this high impact role.

Next to this, you have:

• A Masters qualification, preferably in a ‘technical’ direction such as Engineering, Masters of Business Administration (Technical) or equivalent;
• Experience and a successful track record in managing large international projects within a diverse stakeholder field
• Data analysis skills and an appetite to work with- and make decisions based on data
• Continuous improvement mindset, affinity with Lean Six Sigma is an advantage
• Are a fast learner, communicative, flexible and entrepreneurial
• Willing and able to travel (on average 30-50% of time)
• A high standard of written and spoken English, with Dutch as an advantage
• Willingness to learn Dutch and/or German if needed
• Experience in culture change processes
• Have influencing skills

Preferred

• A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• A high standard of written and spoken Dutch and German
