Nobian celebrates green energy supplier milestone of reaching 1TWh

24 June 2021

One of Nobian’s Green energy suppliers, Windpark Krammer in Zeeland, The Netherlands, has reached the important milestone of producing 1 TWh from wind energy. Nobian was one of the launching customers at the start of the project in March 2019, which has now grown to 34 wind mills.

“For Nobian, projects like Krammer are crucial to increase the amount of renewable electricity in our operations and to lower our carbon footprint. We congratulate all participants with this important milestone. The Krammer project is directly providing green electricity to our site at Rotterdam, where we primarily produce chlorine and caustic soda, all essential raw materials in the chemical industry.”
According to Marcel Galjee, Vice President Energy & New Business at Nobian.

Nobian is proud to celebrate this milestone together with Windpark Krammer and its partners, as well as the fact that the green energy contributes to reaching Nobian’s sustainability goals!
