In November 2024, Nobian's research department, with around 20 researchers, has moved into The Gallery building in the heart of the campus. The physical presence on campus and the innovative and inspiring environment of the University of Twente will certainly intensify our collaboration, not only with the university, but also with other parties in the area.
Knowledge Park as an innovation hotspot
The researchers are working on topics such as salt mining, salt chemistry, electrochemistry, and process technology, and also focus on subjects such as sustainability and energy transition. Many of the themes that Nobian focuses on are also in line with the University's focus. The Knowledge Park is an innovation hotspot, a place where entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions, and governments collaborate on socially relevant education, research, and innovation in which high-end technology plays a significant role.
