Andrea Bauer resigns as CFO

We regret to announce that Andrea Bauer has decided to resign from Nobian as CFO and member of the Executive Team for personal reasons. Andrea will step down effectively as of 1 January 2023. We want to thank Andrea for her contribution to our company, since she joined Nobian in 2021.

In her role she supported the transformation of Nobian into a stand-alone company. This includes establishing our own Treasury system and the successful separation of all IT systems and applications.

While we regret Andrea’s departure, we also respect her decision. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

To ensure a smooth transition, Thorsten Krekels, currently Group Controller will take over the daily responsibilities as interim CFO. Thorsten held several senior finance roles within former AkzoNobel and Nouryon since 1999 and has deep knowledge about our business. 

The appointment of a new CFO will take place in due course.
