Fulltime, Hengelo
Annual gross salary, incl. 8% holiday pay: EUR 52.000 – EUR 85.000 (depending on your experience)

Your challenge as a Process Engineer

As a Process Engineer you conduct conceptual process design, development, cost estimation, optimization, and modification of new and existing production processes. You do this by analyzing, advising and implementing integrated solutions in the most optimal way. You give guidance to engineering contractors to ensure that the best integrated solution is implemented in terms of costs, production, sustainability, safety, etc.
Next to that, you implement process adjustments based on knowledge, studies or tests.
You indicate relevant basic principles for process management, process safety and product quality.

Further to this your tasks will exist of:

  • “Leading by example” regarding process design
  • Acquiring, developing and sharing relevant knowledge on process engineering and best practices across Nobian sites
  • Executing and contributing as a process engineer in studies/ projects in optimizations and improvement of plant performance or new production processes
  • Developing engineering documents such as basis of design, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagram, mass- and heat-balance development, equipment and instrument specification, process control documents.
  • Reporting on studies, projects, experiments, plant, supplier & customer visits
  • Contributing to (process) safety studies

Have you got what it takes?

As a Process Engineer you have a strong background in process engineering within an R&D, Engineering or Manufacturing environment. You are a proactive problem solver and always on the lookout to think in optimal solutions for the company. You enjoy collaborating with other, both inside and outside of Nobian.

Further to this you recognize yourself in the following points:

  • Master’s  degree in science and technology, preferably in chemistry or chemical engineering
  • Relevant working experience
  • Academic level of thinking with good translation to industrial practice
  • Enthusiastic and positive “can do mentality.”
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch or the willingness to learn Dutch is a big plus
