Process Operator - Mariager

At the site in Mariager, we evaporate and produce approx. 600 k tonnes of quality salt per year, which makes us Scandinavia’s largest producer of salt, where large quantities go to high-quality food and pharmaceutical salt as well as salt for the chemical industry with direct shipping from our own harbor.
In Mariager, we are also in possession of large energy and utility plants, including a 37 MW E-boiler, Maricogen combined heat and power plant, as well as wood chip and gas boiler facilities with daily production of a total of 50 tons steam per hour.

We are looking for a process operator for our production department, where you will be part of a team consisting of 15 skilled process operators and 8 operational supervisors, who daily coordinate work tasks from the company’s highly automated control room.The entire team also works closely with the company’s Technical Service department, which in cooperation helps ensure that the manufacturing process is optimal and ensures high product quality.

The entire team works in shifts, which is why you must work according to a structured shift plan, which includes day, evening, night, and weekend work.

The job:
Based on your experience, profile, and personality, we work together to prepare a training plan for the first period, which ensures that you are properly prepared to carry out the job as process operator.

Your tasks will also include the following:

Handle the functions necessary for the process to ensure quality and production.
Carry out measurements and analyses in production.
Monitoring of utility plants.
Participate in the start-up and shutdown of operating facilities.
Adjustment of operating parameters.
Analysis of production parameters.
Cleaning and deacidification of facilities.
Ad hoc tasks, for example participation in process improvement groups, including quality assurance processes, GMP (good manufacturing practice).

Your Profile:
We are looking for a skilled process operator. We expect you to be a trained process operator or have other professionally relevant training and have an interest in the process itself and the production department. It will be an advantage if you have good IT skills and you can read and understand English. In addition, you must be willing to participate in any necessary courses (also outside normal working hours).
Knowledge of evaporation process and GMP will be an advantage.
